Events/Networking – Membership Events:

Our events are probably one of the most advantageous ways for you to come into contact with potential business partners. In Chicago alone, we offer our members dozens of events each year to meet at luncheons, gala dinners, award ceremonies, company visits – for some of these events we even fly them to Germany. We organize business delegations from Germany , trade show visits, round-table discussions and our signature event, the Annual MERLIN Awards Gala. Members receive invitations to all GACCoM events as well as invitations to co-sponsored events. Please see our Upcoming Events as well as our list of Past Events.

Business Referrals:

If a company or individual in need of a particular service or product should contact us for referrals, our members are always recommended first.

Publishing of Member Companies:

Member companies gain widespread exposure among other member companies and business partners through several of our publications. Members are published in the following directories as well as on our website. Members are published free of charge in our national Membership Directory.

•  German American Trade
  Published as a joint-publication of the GACCs in the US ten times per year. The German American Trade magazine keeps the German American business community in the country-region up-to-date on topics of interest such as valuation, foreign exchange, HR benefits, etc. Members are given preferred status when submitting articles and also receive discounts on advertising. •  National Membership Directory
  Published annually by all three U.S. chambers, this directory lists approximately 2000 member firms, and is distributed to member companies throughout the entire US as well as in Germany.
•  Subsidiaries of German Firms in the U.S. (where applicable)
  This directory lists over 2,600 companies from all over the U.S. that have 50% or more German ownership. We also offer a Midwest Subsidiary Direcetory, as well as a Chicago area subsidiary directory.  

“Members Only” Privileges:

Members have access to the “Members Only” section of our Web-site. This includes access to the on-line Membership Directory, event registration and event reminders, and includes the possibility to order publications and directories on-line. Members are always able to update their information and pay dues online.

Member Event Services - Events Planning:

Let us help you plan your business luncheon, seminar or networking event. We can help you showcase your product our services and make direct contact with our members and business partners.

Membership Certificate:

Upon approval by GACCoM’s Board of Directors, new members receive a membership certificate to acknowledge their status as a member.

Voting Privileges:

Members have the right to vote for GACCoM’s Board of Directors at our Annual Members’ Meeting.

VAT refunds:

When traveling to Germany on business, GACCoM can assist members in obtaining business-related sales tax refunds.

*"Midwest" is defined as the states for which GACCoM is responsible, which at present are: Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
