Brinks Hofer Panel: Avoiding US Intellectual Property Pitfalls


Ten of the most common events occurring in everyday business operations that raise US intellectual property issues will be identified and discussed. The US intellectual property issues raised and their solutions will be presented in a concise format that is particularly helpful to business managers and in-house counsel who may not be US intellectual property specialists. Both the US law and the facts relevant to effectively addressing these issues will be summarized. The panelists also will provide tips for avoiding litigation, both as an owner and a potential user of intellectual property.
