Young Executives Committee (YEC) MembershipGACCoM’s has established a Young Executives Committee (YEC) for young professionals who are interested in German-American business relations. The Young Executives Committee has over 90 members which include young professionals up to the age of 40, who meet on a regular basis for networking events, workshops, and business presentations.
Goals of the YEC are to provide:
- special programs for young executives who are interested or currently participating in U.S.-German business relations in the Chicagoland area
- a forum for the exchange of international political and economic topics, issues and experiences
- a unique networking platform for its members
- get into close contact to experienced professionals through the connections of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest
YEC Membership Benefits:
- Invitation to all YEC events (Admission at no charge or minimum cost-covering fee)
- Right to participate at sponsored functions of the GACCoM at reduced GACCoM member rate
- A subscription to the monthly e-newsletter ChamberBrief
- A complete directory of all YEC members
- The opportunity to network with other young professionals at events
YEC Events:
Events range from casual Get-Togethers to formal, business-oriented programs where YEC invites speakers to present a specific topic related to German-American business. Membershipfees:
$75 annually for individuals whose company is not a GACCoM member
$50 annually for individuals whose company is a GACCoM member
