Subsidized Programs

German federal and state governments offer various subsidy programs to German businesses who want to expand to new markets.

GACCoM is currently accepting applications from companies who wish to participate in the following projects: 

• Außenwirtschaftszentrum Bayern (AWZ) Program for Market Entry USA 

• Energy Efficiency in Industry Delegation and Conference (More Information in our Green Corner)

VHP USA 'Plus' 2008/2009

GACCoM is currently working on a project to assist companies in the new federal states and east Berlin with US market entry.  This Vermarktungshilfeprogramm (VHP) is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.  The participants have been selected and the application phase is now closed, but spots may be available in future projects.

Ongoing Initiatives

In addition to the projects listed above, there are ongoing subsidy programs offered by many of the German federal states, including:

• Bavaria
• Hesse
• Thuringia

German companies are encouraged to check with their local IHK to determine what type of incentive programs may be available to them.
