| Green Building Innovation Seminars - Training the Future
In order to inspire the next generation of architects, engineers and construction managers, the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest, Inc. (GACCoM) organized a successful repeat of the 2008 “Green Building Innovation Seminars” series at four Midwestern universities. | The group was graciously once again hosted by the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Architecture. For the first time, the seminar series took place at Northwestern University McCormick School of Engineering and the Illinois Institute of Technology College of Architecture. A select group of leading architects and engineers from Germany and the United States presented their latest research and projects incorporating renewable energies and other innovative, energy efficient green building technologies at these renowned schools. |
