This series brings together the Human Resource Managers and Executives from our member companies to allow ongoing networking and to discuss pertinent human resources and recruiting issues such as: Hiring practices, employee retention, inter-cultural training, lack of highly skilled workers, update on work visas, interns from Germany and the US, etc. At each meeting we will bring in a specialist or an experienced representative from a member company to set the platform for the discussion.

The German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest in Chicago was co-sponsoring a one-day conference, hosted by ThinkSwiss. The main focus was to discuss and present examples on how to build the next generation of skilled workers by introducing the success of the European apprenticeship program model to the US. We would like to thank ThinkSwiss for a great successful cooperation.
